What the 2026 data says (one agency’s numbers)

VA Masters, a recruitment agency, studied 323 roles opened by 253 companies from February to August 2026. Newsbytes.PH reported the results on September 30, 2026.

The article says admin work was often combined with CRM platforms, social media marketing and sales lead generation. 80 hours a month works out to roughly 20 hours a week.

The agency’s founder, Alon Pearl, described small businesses as needing “someone who can handle admin in the morning, update the CRM after lunch and get a social post out before the day ends.”

A few recent public posts show the same mix:

  • X, October 10, 2026: a hiring post for a part-time VA at 10 to 13 hours a week, up to 15 in busy periods. The main responsibilities listed were “Admin & CRM” and “Social Media”.
  • SOVA job board, October 13, 2026: a part-time admin role at 10 hours a week for a construction company. It lists “Admin & Email”, “Job Coordination”, “Invoicing & Bookkeeping” and “Systems & Processes”.
  • X, October 19, 2026 (PH time): someone asked if VA work could be part-time. A reply pointed to OnlineJobs.ph and said “may filter dun if u want part time or full time work.”

Hours and task lists vary a lot from post to post, so read each one closely.

Which 2 skills go well together?

Pick skills that use the same tools or the same information. These are sample pairings. Use them only if you can do both parts.
